The basics of work, done properly
Every company needs a place to talk, a way to track what needs doing and, sooner or later, a way to get agreements signed. Those basics shouldn't cost more each time you hire someone, and they shouldn't live in five tools that don't know about each other.
What we believe
- Talking to your team should be free. Chat and the Workboard are free for every company, at any size — no seat counts, no trial clock.
- Conversation and work belong together. Decisions happen in chat. The work that follows should live right next to it, linked to where it came from.
- Your data is yours. We encrypt it, we keep our own tools from showing us your content, and we let you bring your own AI provider.
- Simple beats clever. If a feature needs a manual, we haven't finished designing it.
What we're building
Basik is a suite: Basik Chat and Basik Workboard are available today on the web, desktop and mobile. Basik Sign, for electronic signatures, is next. Each product uses the same sign-in, people and permissions, so adding one doesn't mean starting over.
