Security checklist for admins

A short list of settings and habits that keep your company safe.

  1. Keep owners and admins few. Review roles in Settings → Members from time to time.
  2. Use private channels for sensitive topics, and keep their membership tight.
  3. Remove people promptly when they leave the company.
  4. Revoke pending invitations that are no longer needed.
  5. Decide who manages AI. Only owners, admins and AI admins can connect or change the AI key.
  6. Turn off modules you don't use in Settings → Modules.
  7. Ask everyone to use a unique, strong password. If someone suspects their account is compromised, a password reset signs them out on every device.
