Voice and video calls

Start a call

Use the phone or video button at the top of any channel or direct message. People in the conversation can join; one-to-one calls ring the other person, and missed calls show up in the conversation.

During the call

• Mute, turn your camera on or off, and blur your background (processed on your device).
• Share your screen from the desktop or web app. Others can draw on what you share to point things out.

After the call

With Basik AI connected, a summary and action points are posted to the conversation. Turn action points into Workboard tasks in one click.

Permissions

Your browser or computer will ask for microphone, camera and screen recording access the first time. On Mac, screen sharing needs permission in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen Recording.
